Hi! I'm Deborah Keene

 

I am a Yoga Teacher, Ayurvedic Practitioner, and Mentor for Women.


I get how the intensity of summer energy can cause us to push so much that we end up feeling out of sorts, irritated, and or overwhelmed.

I have experienced first hand some of the aggravations of excess heat and  overdoing:  skin rashes, flared tempers, and inflammatory conditions like acid reflux and joint pain.

The good news is that it doesn't have to be this way. 

I began my studies of Yoga and Ayurveda back in the early 1980's and have applied the teachings to my own life ever since.  I have learned to recognize the root causes of my aggravations and the diet and lifestyle measures needed to alleviate them. 

 I am super excited to share my 40 years of experience and knowledge with you so you can remain healthy and balanced inside and out during the seasons.

About your Guide

Deborah was born in Waterville, Maine and moved to Liberty when she was 19.

She is a mother, grandmother, (and great-grandmother) who has dedicated over 50 years to the studies and practices of India’s ancient sciences.

She is a beloved yoga teacher, mentor for women, and Ayurvedic practitioner whose teachings are grounded in her in-depth studies, direct experiences, and personal transformations. 

She brings 40 years of experience to her offerings. 

She is known as an inspiring, intuitive teacher who speaks from her heart and combines humor, compassion, and easy manner in all of her offerings. 
Her unique style blends Ayurvedic wisdom with a variety of yogic traditions with a primary focus on Kundalini.

 She has studied throughout the United States and in India with some of world’s best teachers.
She is the founder and owner of the Ayurveda Yoga Center with a studio on her property in Liberty, Maine.
